It is so crazy hard to believe that my 3rd year at Ole Miss has come and gone already!!! It seems like just yesterday that I moved into the dorms freshman year, and now here I am heading into senior year. As I think back on the past year, so many sweet memories come in mind! Here’s a little trip down memory lane!
Kicked off the year with the grand opening of the new Hotty Toddy Tans with the Glam Squad!
Cheered on my Rebels with great friends!
Was named an Honors College Ambassador along with both of my roommates!
Served on the Panhellenic Judicial Board with some of the greatest Greek women on campus!
Welcomed home an amazing pledge class to DDD on bid day
Road tripped down to Tuscaloosa with my favorite future Bama girl!
Road in the homecoming parade as Most Beautiful 2017!
Was named 1st runner up at Miss University, my first Miss prelim ever!
Was over the moon excited to have won Miss Vicksburg the next weekend! I got the BEST teen queen!
Was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi!
Had so much fun at Tri Delta Stars and Crescent Ball in Memphis!
Met with Mississippi State Treasurer Lynn Fitch to discuss a plan of action for the financial illiteracy epidemic!
Had our last MoneyThink mentoring of the semester at Lafayette High School!
Met Blair the Cat! Avery named her kitten after me 🙂
Visited Boston with the Honors College for our Junior Quest! Honors students were able to conduct research for our Capstone Thesis projects!
Made it back to Vicksburg for lots of fun appearances!
Cheered on lots of friends at the Miss Tupelo pageant!
Went to Vail and Denver with two of my very best friends!
Kicked off my 21st year back in Oxford!
Began my time as DDD VP of Administration with a visit from our Chapter Development Consultant, and we also had our Officer Retreat the first week back!
Crowned Most Beautiful 2018 at the Parade of Beauties!
Hung out with my Magnolia Princesses at Orientation in Vicksburg!
Danced for 12 hours straight at RebelTHON raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals!
Celebrated Read Across America Day at three schools in Oxford!
Campaigned for some amazing friends in the Associated Student Body elections!
Went to MLB Spring Training in Phoenix, AZ and became a big Seattle Mariners fan!
Cruised the Caribbean with my sweet family!
Had a very “hoppy” Easter at home!
Collected toys for Blair E Batson patients with my sister queens in Starkville!
Visited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with my DDD sisters for our annual chapter retreat!
Cheered in Sigma Nu Charity Bowl!
Was named the new VP of Partner Relations for MoneyThink after a great semester of mentoring at Oxford High!
Had the best time with my girls at spring formal!
Cheered my teen queen on to a 3rd runner up finish at Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen!
Said goodbye to Hooper Hollow after 2 amazing years living there!
It was an unforgettable year with incredible friends, so many opportunities for growth and leadership, and countless precious memories made! Saying bye to Oxford is one of the hardest things in the world, and I can’t wait to be back for a great senior year!
