Double the pancakes = double the fun!!! For National Pancake Day, I had the opportunity to raise funds for both Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
I kicked off the day with a visit to the Oxford IHOP with Mary Margaret Hyer, Miss Southern Grace. We enjoyed a free short stack of pancakes, made a donation to CMN and welcomed and thanked guests for attending! Miss America contestants all over the country participated at their local IHOP.
That evening, my sorority, Tri Delta, had our annual DHOP (Delta House of Pancakes) fundraiser for St. Jude. Students as well as members of the Oxford community came to our house to enjoy a tasty pancake dinner. It was so much fun, and we always love spreading awareness of our philanthropy.
I sure do love pancakes, but pancakes for the kids are even better! Thank you to everyone that made both of these events such a success!
